website.jpgRobert Gilson directed arts programs at the 92nd Street Y from 1987 – 2014. He was appointed Director Emeritus in 2014, and retired from 92Y in 2015. Gilson earned an MFA in photography from the Program in Photographic Studies at the Visual Studies Workshop in 1981, a satellite program of SUNY Buffalo. Prior to joining 92Y, Gilson was director of Special Programs in Art at Skidmore College, and Director of Fine and Applied Arts at the Chautauqua Institution. A one-person exhibition of his photographs is on view at the 92nd Street Y until the end of February.
